Founded in 2008, HYAA Wrestling has grown into one of the largest youth programs in Massachusetts.  This program is available to both girls & boys ages Kindergarten- 8th grade.

Wrestling is split into two divisions: K-1 & 2-8, boys & girls wrestle in the same practice & tournaments.

The K-1 wrestling division focuses on basic wrestling fundamentals & skills.

  • Practices are held once per week separately from the 2-8 division.
  • Participation in tournaments and other competitive events is voluntary and left to the discretion of parents, although most tournaments have a division of this age group. If you’re unsure, ask a coach!

Grades 2-8 focuses on the more technical and challenging aspects of the sport.

  • Practice is held 3 days per week with competition nearly every Sunday throughout the season.  While competing is voluntary, it is encouraged in this age group.

The seasons begins in November and runs through the state championships.  Often held in early February (Date TBD)

Practices are held at the Hanover Mall Former (Spirit of Halloween Building) please enter through the rear behind Wal Mart
