           Overview

 Divisions  Summer Travel Softball

HYAA offers recreational, developmental, in-town Spring Softball program for players in K-8th grade.

The Hanover Softball program is organized into four age divisions: K-2nd grade, 3rd and 4th grade (Minor), 5th and 6th (Junior) grade and 7th and 8th  (Major) grade.  Please see below for each division’s overview.  All games and practices will be held on our beautiful softball fields at Forge Pond Park.

Equipment and Schedules

Gloves are mandatory for each player and provided by parents.  The program will provide bats, balls and other essential equipment. Bringing your own bat is always encouraged but we will have plenty just in case.  Softball begins after April vacation, which is typically when the fields are ready for play.  Practices are held at the discretion of the coaches.  As an extra benefit to the program, every Saturday morning there is an optional skills day for all ages (K-8) to enjoy, parents are encouraged to help out and join in.  This is a great opportunity for girls to get extra practice and develop their skills.  We have a lot of very talented volunteers that make our program a success each year.

Uniforms

HYAA will provide UnderArmour Hanover Softball Shirt and Hanover Softball Headband for each registered player.

Girls should wear their own Softball pants, sweatpants or shorts. Sneakers or softball cleats are recommended.
