The purpose of the Hanover Cheerleading Program is to provide a safe and positive exprience. We offer both competitive and noncompetitive cheerleading for the residents of Hanover.
Sideline Cheer is offered to members in grades 1-8:
Mighty Mites : grades 1 - 2
Mites : grades 3 - 4
Pee Wees : grades 5 - 6
Midgets : grades 7 - 8
All teams will cheer at weekly regular and postseason games, both home and away.
Cheer Camp will be held August 15th-18th and all athletes are expected to attend. There is an additional $50 fee. for camp. Practices will begin the week of August 23rd. Schedule is below:

Registration will open in early May.
Registrants who join the Waitlist and pay in full will be added to teams if room allows. If we are unable to place a child on a team a full refund will be issued back to the credit card used to make paent. Paid participants will be added in the order they joined the waitlist.

Competition Cheer is offered to members in grades 3 - 8 and divided into the following competitive teams:
Mites: grades 3-4
Pee Wees : grades 5-6
Midgets : grades 7-8
Competition Chroreography/Cheer Camp is scheduled for August 16th-19th and all members must register and attend. There is an additional $50 fee for camp.
Practice will begin the week of August 23rd.
All athletes must participate in Sideline Cheerleading in order to be considered for the Competition Team.

Includes Professional Half time choreography for all 4 sideline teams and Professional Competition choreography for all 3 competition teams. In addition, stunting, cheers, jumps, tumbling and conditioning.

We are always looking for coaches and assistants for all teams. Anyone with cheer experience who would like to coach can email Maura with a short description of their cheer experience. All volunteers selected to help coach must fill out an HYAA Cori prior to working with the program.
