As Hanover Youth Soccer is governed by Mass Youth Soccer (MYSA), all adult volunteers are required to comply with their state-wide guidelines. Coaches and adult volunteers must submit a CORI and Background check through US Soccer Connect and complete TWO video certifications. Completion of all MYSA Adult Registration requirements will enable us to produce your coaching credential - an annual coach lanyard. Lanyards must be worn by coaches at all practices and games.
Soccer Coach Registration Part 1
Coaches need to start HERE for Adult Registration. Regardless of if you have coached in prior years, all coaches must complete a registration each year.
New coaches will establish an account, upload a headshot photo, sign waivers, and submit a CORI. Additionally there are two training certifications required for Soccer coaches – CDC Heads Up concussion training and US Center for SafeSport Abuse prevention training.
Once coaches have completed their Adult Registration, they should use the U.S. Soccer Connect Login Portal to find training links and review registration information.
All MYSA instructions can be found at - https://www.mayouthsoccer.org/adult-registration-process/
Soccer Coach Registration Part 2
Please read & sign the HYAA Code of Conduct, which all HYAA Coaches are asked to follow.
You will be asked to submit a 2nd CORI for HYAA - this CORI will cover you for 2 years and for all other HYAA sports you may volunteer to coach.
